ABOUT SMR

About Synthetic Market Research

SMR is a publication and product directory for people evaluating synthetic market research.

What we cover

Synthetic respondents, digital twins and sample augmentation can serve different research jobs. We describe products using original company sources and compare their documented uses, data and methods. We also cover research findings and developments that help readers understand the field.

How to read our coverage

A provider's description of its product is a provider claim. A study can show how a method performed for the task, population and measures it tested. It does not establish the same result for every research question. We link to original sources and distinguish published findings from our own analysis.

Who we are

Amandeep Chumber

Founder, Synthetic Market Research

Amandeep Chumber is the founder of Synthetic Market Research and a market research professional with experience in survey research, primary research and quantitative analysis. She brings her research background to SMR’s coverage of synthetic respondents, digital twins and AI-assisted research, with a focus on how these methods are used and what the published evidence shows.

SMR is a commercial publication and directory. Our founding team brings experience in market research and AI, including more than five years in market research and prior experience at ZS Associates. We have offices in Singapore and cover products relevant to research buyers across markets.

Listings and sponsorship

Basic directory listings are free, and the default order is alphabetical by provider. Paid placements are labelled. Sponsorship does not buy a favorable review or change the default directory order. Our editorial standards explain how we prepare profiles and handle corrections. You can also send us a correction with supporting material.
