Inquiries and event submissions

Our forms collect your name, email address and the details you choose to send. Event submissions also ask for the event name, organizer, dates, location, focus and official event page. We use these details to review and respond to submissions. An inquiry does not sign you up for the newsletter.

Newsletter on Substack

You can subscribe to Synthetic Market Research on Substack. You enter your subscription details on Substack, which manages newsletter subscriptions and delivery under its own privacy practices. Use the unsubscribe link in a Substack email to manage your subscription.

Delivery and security

Our hosting service and Resend send inquiry and event-submission details to the SMR team's private mailbox. We use them to review submissions and reply where needed. Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and network information to help prevent automated abuse. Please do not send confidential information through these forms.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies help the site work. If you allow optional cookies, Google Analytics 4, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure site visits and performance. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits. We measure page visits, reading depth, outbound links and inquiry outcomes. We do not send form contents to these services. Clicks to provider and event-organizer websites may include the provider or event listing and the SMR page where the click started; analytics does not receive the full destination URL. Links from provider listings, comparison pages, company updates and event listings may include tags showing SMR as the source and identifying the relevant provider or event. These tags contain no visitor ID or personal details. Optional analytics stays off unless you allow cookies. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw your choice. We remember your choice for six months. Analytics cookies last up to six months. Google Analytics event and user data is kept for up to 14 months; aggregated reports may be kept longer. Cookie consent is separate from newsletter consent. Google and our other providers may process information outside your country under their data-processing terms. Your comparison shortlist is saved in your browser so it remains available when you return. Clear it to remove the selected items from that browser. Provider and event-organizer links lead to external websites with their own privacy practices.

Choice and retention

We keep correspondence as needed to reply and manage the relationship. Records from the earlier website newsletter signup remain in Resend to retain consent and unsubscribe preferences; they are not automatically transferred to Substack. Unsubscribe links in earlier SMR emails remain available for that list, and you can contact us for help with an earlier signup. We do not share your contact details with sponsors unless you ask us to.
